Hotel Jarry - 1 Star Hotel In Paris

The Hotel Jarry is a one star hotel is in the 10th Arrondissement of Paris in a lively area only a few hundred metres from the Gare de l'Est railway.

Located close to the Grands Boulevards with its famous department stores, this hotel in Paris is also not far away from the Gare du Nord railway station that the Eurostar passenger train arrives at, the Paris museum called the Musee des Arts et Metiers and the beautiful Canal St Martin.

Just one street away from the hotel you can experience lots of different market shops, grocery stores and traditional Paris restaurants frequented by locals, which is great if you are travelling to Paris on a tight budget.

The hotel is spread over six floors, but please do bear in mind that there is no lift and typical of many Paris buildings, the stairs are pretty steep, so this would not be a good choice for anyone with disabilities.

The Hotel Facilities

The Hotel Jarry has a 24 hour reception desk with friendly staff that do speak English as well as French, along with 24 hour security as well.

There is a luggage storage area if you are arriving early or leaving late in the day, but there is also a late check-out facility available as well.

At reception there is a fax facility available and Internet access is also available within the lobby area and WiFi is also available throughout the hotel but at an additional charge.

There is a breakfast room, garden to relax in when its nice weather and a TV room, but also a private bar, which is unusual in a 1 Star hotel, although this can make for a relaxing end to a hectic day of visiting the many different monuments and tourist attractions in Paris.

The Hotel Rooms

You have a choice of rooms with en-suite facilities and others that use the shared facilities, although do make a note that the shared facilities are on the third floor and there are a total of 36 rooms ranging from singles up to quadruple rooms.

Each room is equipped with a TV and Cable TV along with a telephone.

Room rates: To give you an idea a double room with shower is €55 and a quadruple room with a bath and toilet is €80.  The Continental style breakfast is €5 per person.
