Hotel Aurore Montmartre - 2 Star Hotel In Paris

The Hotel Aurore Montmartre is a budget hotel located in the 9th Arrondissement of Paris close to the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret venue and the beautiful Sacre Coeur Basilica.

But it is also a 2 star hotel that has just as many facilities within the clean cosy rooms as some of the basic 3 star hotel in Paris and is a great place to stay after a hectic day of sight seeing.

Within walking distance of this Paris hotel you could visit the Musee Grevin waxworks museum that is based upon Madame Tussauds in London, the Folies Bergere where numerous famous actors and actresses like Edith Piaf and Charlie Chaplin have performed or visit the unusual Musee de la Parfumerie Fragonard detailing the history of perfume or the Theatre Musee des Capucines that has a mock up of a 19th century perfume factory that is housed inside the renovated theatre.

However, if an evening out is on your list of things to do, then you could enjoy a night out at the Opera Garnier or enjoy a Spanish meal at the Paris Bodega that is a bar, restaurant, nightclub and has its own troupe of acrobats and entertainers.

The Hotel Facilities

There are double, twin and family rooms for three people available at the Hotel Aurore Montmartre and all have a bathroom with hairdryer, plus a work desk.

Each hotel room is also equipped with either an LCD or Plasma screen TV, a direct dial telephone, alarm clock and even a mini bar.

Some rooms also have a modem line and some even have a fax machine, which is great if you are visiting Paris on business or need to keep in touch with the office.

Rates as of 2010: A Double or Twin room is from €110 and a Triple room is from €145.
