This is a budget hotel located on the outskirts of the city
centre and this is reflected in the price even though many of the hotel rooms have been
recently renovated, but there is a supermarket only a few doors away, which is rather
handy if you do not wish to lay out lots of money at restaurants.
The Hotel Facilities
The Hotel Clarisse has a very small lift suitable for one person and luggage at a time,
but at least you do not have to drag your bags up flights of stairs.
Quite unusual for many of the hotels in Paris,
but if you are arriving via your own transport rather than by Eurostar
Train or plane, then you will be pleased to know that they have a private and secure car
park.
There is a nice comfortable and cosy dining area, where the basic continental breakfast is
served each morning, or you can opt for this to be served to your room if you prefer.
Something else you do not often find at 2 star hotels in Paris is the fact that the Hotel
Clarisse has a bar called l'Arlequin, which is a great place to relax of an evening after
a hectic day of sight seeing.
Hotel Room Facilities
There are a total of 25 hotel rooms that are small, but all come with an en-suite bathroom
with either a bath or shower and have a hairdryer, plus a couple even have bidets.
Each room at the Hotel Clarisse also has a telephone, TV and small desk.
Rates as of 2010: A Single or Double room is from 69, a Twin room is from 79
and a Triple hotel room is from 109.
