The Hotel Facilities
The Hotel de la Places des Alpes has a 24 hour reception desk with staff who are friendly
and helpful plus most of them can speak good English, so they are willing to give you
advice on where to go and what to see in the local area, yet with the Metro only being a
block away, the rest of Paris is within easy reach.
You will be pleased to know that there is a lift, although some rooms at the back of the
hotel can only be accessed by stairs, yet these rooms do tend to be quieter as they are
away from the street.
Internet access is available at the Hotel de la Places des Alpes via Ethernet cable,
although there is a small charge for this service, which is around €5 per day.
There is a Continental breakfast served in the lovely breakfast room each morning and is a
very reasonable cost compared to many hotels in Paris,
but it is quite basic, yet definitely enough to get your system fired.
Hotel Room Facilities
There are a total of 42 neat, clean and comfortable rooms and all are non-smoking.
They have en-suite bathrooms, although these are very small, but that is to be expected
from a budget hotel.
However, each room at the Hotel de la Places des Alpes does have facilities such as a
direct dial telephone, a TV with Satellite TV and a safe for additional peace of mind.
Rates as of 2010: A Single room is from €60, a Double room is from €65 and a
Twin hotel room is from €75. The Continental breakfast is a cost of only
€6 per person.
