The Hotel Facilities
There is a 24 hour reception with staff that speak English as well as French and they are
happy to help you get the most out your stay.
Small pets are allowed to accompany you by prior arrangement and for an additional charge
of approximately €15 per night, plus you will be please to know that you can keep in
touch with friends, family and colleagues back home by utilising the free WiFi internet
access. However, there are also hight speed internet access points that you can also
utilise, but these are at an additional charge.
There is a luggage room, so you can leave your bags for free if you arrive early or are
leaving Paris late in the day, plus the Hotel Gare du Nord Suede also has safes available,
and again these are an additional charge.
The French style buffet breakfast is served every day from 6.30an through to 10.30am in
the bright and colourful breakfast room with delights such as croissants, rolls, jams,
cheeses, fruit salad, etc.
Even though the HotelGare du Nord Suede does not have a bar, there are drinks machines, so
you will not go thirsty and you can always sit an relax with one of the newspapers
available to keep up to speed with the news.
Hotel Room Facilities
There are a total of 50 hotel rooms and 41 of these have been renovated to include air
conditioning for added comfort.
The hotel rooms are categorised from Cosy, which as the name suggests are very small cosy
rooms and these are the most basic, through to the 8 Privilege Plus rooms that are the
largest and can take up to three adults.
The rooms either have a bath or a shower complete with hairdryer and complementary
toiletries and look out over the street or the courtyard.
The renovated rooms now have duvets instead of the old fashioned sheets and bedspreads and
a flat screen LCD TV with Satellite TV up 26 inches in most, but the Privilege Plus rooms
at the Hotel Gare du Nord Suede have a flat screen LCD TV fixed to the wall that is up to
32 inches in size.
The is rather unusual for hotels in Paris, but the rooms also come equipped with tea and
coffee making facilities along with a half bottle of spring water upon arrival, plus there
are also a couple of the hotel rooms that do have a balcony as well.
Rates as of 2010: A Cosy room is from €110, a Privilege room is from €150 and a
Privilege Plus hotel room is from €160. The buffet breakfast is a cost of
€8 per person.
