Hotel Palma - 2 Star Hotel In Paris

The recently renovated Hotel Palma is a modern and clean cut two star hotel in the 20th Arrondissment of Paris and is a great budget hotel for those staying in Paris on business or for pleasure.

This hotel is situated in the heart of an old part of Paris where Edith Piaf once lived and the museum can now be found, so you will be able to experience true Parisian life and culture with cafes, a flea market, a wide choice of Paris restaurants and visit places like the Pere Lachaise Cemetary, the unusual French museum dedicated to air and how it affects life like birds, plants etc called the Maison de l'Air or if you are really into swimming, then the Stade Nautique Georges Vallerey is ideal for laps and serious swimmers where championships are often held.

However, the Metro is a matter of steps away, so you can easily reach other parts of this fabulous city and visit numerous different Paris monuments, but if you prefer being above ground then there is a Velib cycle station just outside the hotel as well.

The Hotel Facilities

There is a 24 hour reception and the hotel is open all year round and the staff are happy to help you get the most out of your stay, like advising you on different restaurants, helping book tickets for shows and cabarets, etc.

The Hotel Palma has a lounge area and a computer that you can utilise and there is WiFi throughout the hotel so you can use your laptop, although there is an additional charge for this, compared to many of the Paris hotels that now have free internet access.

Continental breakfast is available within the breakfast room, or if you prefer, this can be served to your hotel room at no additional charge.

All of the 32 hotel rooms are soundproofed, air conditioned and have heating for the cooler times of year, plus they come with a full bathroom that includes a hairdryer.

The rooms at the Hotel Palma can accommodate up to four people, which is ideal for families and they all have a TV with Cable TV, a direct dial telephone and internet access.

Rates as of 2010: A Single room is from €85, a Double room is from €100 and a Triple hotel room is from €120.  The Continental breakfast is an additional cost per person.
