This is an area with so much to see on foot from the Hotel Castex
like the Jardin des Plantes, the Luxembourg gardens, the Musee Carnavalet and
the Institut
du Monde Arabe that is opposite La Grande Mosquee,
that you will need to really make sure you organise your time carefully, especially if you
even care to consider how many other places of interest there are in other areas of this
great city.
But, to recharge the body, there are also some great Paris restaurants
nearby including the quaint Au Vieux Paris, the unique place serving Yiddish cuisine
called Le Train de
Vie, the Benoit,
which is a Paris
bistro close to the Hotel de Ville and the stylish Baz'Art caf? to name
but a few!
The Hotel Facilities
With the charm of this hotel, you also get comfort and modern amenities such as air
conditioning and free WiFi throughout, plus there is a 24 hour reception with concierge
service and staff that speak English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
There is a luggage room where you can leave your bags safely for free plus you will be
pleased to know that there is a lift and which is also suitable for the disabled.
The Hotel Castex has a nice lounge area to relax, maybe read the news or catch up with
friends, but for a great start to the day you must experience the continental breakfast
that is served buffet style in a beautiful vaulted cellar with its exposed stone.
Hotel Room Facilities
Very reasonably priced for what they have to offer, the Hotel Castex has a total of 30

personal safe and an en-suite bathroom complete with hair drier.

the patio, which is beautiful when in bloom with all its flowers and have either a bath or

The Hotel Castex has a room on the ground floor that is quite large and is suitable for
wheelchair users due to its size and conveience, plus there is an option of connecting two
double or twin rooms through a small private corridor for family or friends if this is
organised at the time of booking.
There is one triple room that is arranged on two levels with a single bed on the first
level and a double bed on a mezzanine that you have to reach via a flight of stairs, but
this is also an ideally romantic room, with this feature and that of exposed beams as
well.
The family room at the Hotel Castex comprises two double rooms that are connected via a
