Even though the hotel has its own restaurant, if you just wish to
experience some of the numerous Paris restaurants
that are in the area, then there are some great places nearby such as the Angelina tea room
famous for its hot chocolate, the traditional restaurant Au Pied de
Cochon that has never closed in over 60 years and popular for its oysters and pork
dishes, the fantastic Le Carre Des
Feuillants Michelin starred haute cuisine dining experience, Le Rubis Wine
Bar with its extensive list of French wines from different
regions in France or how about Jeg Lag for
American style favourites like burgers or steak and chips. The choice is endless!
The Hotel Facilities
As you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Paris, there is a 24 hour reception and there
are around 90 staff employed that are there to help you get the most out of your stay in
this City of Lights.
The concierge team are members of the Prestigious Clefs d'Or with a motto of "Our
only limitations are those of the imagination" and this is so true of the
multi-lingual staff at the Castille Paris that will be able to help with everything from
excursions, tours
of Paris, booking tickets for shows and
cabarets through to some unusual things like perhaps a hot-air balloon ride and much,
much more.
The hotel is fully air conditioned, has a lift and a WiFi network throughout, but there is
also a dedicated business centre that is open 24 hours a day and includes all the
equipment needed including computers, etc.
The Castille Paris offers a laundry and dry cleaning service plus a 24 hour room service
with not only breakfast, snacks or salads, but even full meals prepared by the chef.
There is a restaurant, which used to be called the Il Cortile, but has now been changed to
The Assaggio, which still has the same familiar Italian theme and offers delicious dishes
such Risotto and Pasta and desserts like Tiramisu. Plus when the weather is nice,
you can just sit and relax or enjoy your meal within the beautiful Florentine patio that
opens up from the restaurant and has a Roman fountain for extra tranquillity and the
feeling of being in Italy rather than France.
But for those of you that still want to keep in trim or lose a few pounds from all the
over indulging, then there is a fitness centre, which is free to the Castille Paris hotel
guests, along with a sauna that can accommodate up to five people at a time. These
are located on the first floor and are also open 24 hours a day.
There are also two function rooms available called the Venice and Verona that benefit from
natural light, air conditioning, sound proofing and have an atmosphere that is more like a
private residence, so whatever your requirements, whether it be a boardroom meeting, a
business lunch or a cocktail party, the dedicated staff will cater to your needs.
Hotel Room Facilities
The Castille Paris hotel has a total of 86 rooms and 21 suites with most of them
overlooking the patio, plus being soundproofed and air conditioned there are two different
styles of atmosphere available, which are either traditional Venetian or elegant
contemporary and are located in two separate wings of the hotel.
With gentle lighting and soft colours, the hotel rooms are designed with comfort and a
restful nights sleep in mind, plus they come with beautiful Carrara marble bathrooms.
The hotel rooms and the suites that are located on the fifth floor and six floor of one
particular wing offer fantastic views over the rooftops of Paris and some of these even
have balconies as well.
Along with the usual things you would expect such as a TV with Satellite TV, direct dial
telephone, personal safe, mini bar, WiFi internet access and a work desk, you also get
complimentary bathroom products.
