Yet maybe a trip to the races and the famous Longchamp Horse
racing course or perhaps taking a stroll, going boating, horse riding or enjoying the
lake and park along with the peace and tranquillity of the Bois de Bologne area could be a
pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of the city of Paris and is more your
idea of a day out, but whatever you decide to do, there is so much nearby to the Hotel
Concorde la Fayette, without even contemplating the metro to go further a field.
The Hotel Facilities
There are two bars at this Paris hotel, the first being the Bar La Fayette is a great
place to meet with friends or business colleagues and located on the ground floor it is
open for business breakfasts and serves drinks and light meals throughout the day, but
turns into a piano bar with soft lighting in the evening from 9pm through to closing at
1am.
The Panoramic Bar as the name suggests has fantastic views of Paris from the floor to
ceiling windows with leather seating that makes it ideal for a place to relax whilst
sipping a cocktail, and located on the 33rd floor you can admire the city of lights in the
evening with the sparkling Eiffel Tower.
The La Fayette Restaurant with its contemporary and stylish interior is open every day of
the week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, where you can enjoy a refined and cosy dining
experience but also choose between a buffet with sweet and savoury dishes or an a la carte
menu offering French
cuisine and international dishes to suite all tastes.
There is a fitness centre and health club called the Waou, which is a private members club
connected to the hotel and is available for use by guests for around 25 per day or
free to those in the Club rooms and suites, plus a wide range of facilities such as a
swimming pool, gym, spa centre, etc.
If you like shopping then you certainly will not have to go very far as there is an indoor
shopping centre connected to the hotel with over 50 shops including boutiques and cafes, but this
also provides access to the nearest Metro station as well, so that you can get to other
areas of Paris easily to visit numerous other attractions such as the Place de la
Concorde along with the famous Louvre museum.
Located within the hotel lobby of the Hotel there is a complete business centre area with
internet access, photocopying and fax facilities, computers and comfortable seating
with complementary newspapers.
If you are arriving by car, then you can arrange to have access to the undercover parking
area and as you would expect from a 4 star hotel, you will be greeted by doormen and
luggage porters and of course you also have the usual facilities on offer such as
concierge service, shuttle service, dry cleaning and laundry service, room service, etc.
