The Hotel Facilities
There is a reception and the concierge staff are registered with the prestigious Clefs
d'Or, which means you know that you will be well looked after and they can cater for
virtually every possible need you could think of and not just the usual things like
booking tickets for shows and
cabarets in Paris or making reservations at many of the incredible Paris restaurants.
The Hotel Edouard 7 has an elegant and authentic bar, which is a great place to relax,
meet up with friends or colleagues and perhaps enjoy a cocktail, plus there is a lounge
area that is modern and bright for a great place to unwind at the end of a long day.
There is also a restaurant, which is bright and spacious yet combines classic and chic
styles with a decor in soft, harmonious colours, and is the ideal place for lunches and
dinner as well as business luncheons or private cocktail parties, but they also cater for
children, with a dedicated kids menu and a cute souvenir is also provided.
But children are not forgotten at other times either, as there are always little treats
and macaroons, etc that are available to keep them happy during their stay in this unusual
4 star hotel.
There is a dedicated conference room available that benefits from natural light in a cosy
and warm atmosphere, but the suites can also be transformed into a privileged, intimate
space for small gatherings.
Hotel Room Facilities
Now this is where things get interesting at the Hotel Edouard 7 as there are many
different types of room available, plus you can get additional special extras with certain
types of booking and certain rooms.
The first we will look at is the Edouard 7 Collection..
The E7 collection, as it is known, offers different room categories according to their
size from the Rive Droite, then Superior through to Deluxe.
Four poster beds and parquet floor along with a d?cor of chocolate and caramel colours
set the atmosphere and the ambiance, which combine with period furniture, paintings of
Edward VII and Napoleon III and other decorative objects. But on the 2nd floor
the rooms do offer a little more contemporary setting with touches of purple and green
plus a more modern decor.
Then there is the Couture Collection of hotel rooms..
The Couture collection also has the same categories for the size of room from the Rive
Droite, then the Superior through to Deluxe, but each hotel room is slightly different
with its own unique variation of furniture and colours and has been inspired by curved
lines, geometrical shapes and art deco, yet still with elegance and panache.
Within this type of hotel room there are five different colour schemes that were chosen to
make each room unique and its own, plus they are adorned with rich velvet, silk, leather,
Prince of Wales carpet and have lots of light to adorn the rooms in an elegant and
intimate way.
There are also Suites available and being styled the same way either more traditional or
contemporary yet with that chic Parisian feel, they overlook the Opera Garnier and these
were renovated around 2005 by the renowned French architect William Foucault.
If you go for a deluxe hotel room you can receive a newspaper of your choice and a hot
drink or fresh fruit juice delivered to your room along with a shoe clean and shoe shine
service. You even get the use of a MAC computer in the lobby along with a dry
cleaning and ironing service if you book two consecutive nights.
If you are staying in a Junior Suite at the Hotel Edouard 7 you can check in at ease and
also benefit from free soft drinks from your mini bar in addition to what we mentioned
above, plus staying in one of the Suites means that you can also have train or airport
transfers along with a champagne welcome, but these are conditional on when booking
certain rooms and in certain ways through the hotel promotions that are available.
