There are also French museums such as the Musee Jacquemart

The Hotel Facilities
The reception at the Hotel Franklin D. Roosevelt has a full concierge service and is open
24 hours a day with multi-lingual staff to help you get the most out of your stay in this
fabulous cilty of lights.
The lobby area is more like an English style with its bright and colourful armchairs and
sofas, but the reception actually opens on to different lounge areas and each has its own
decor and charm, with one particular one being wood panelled and a large fireplace that is
always lit in winter, which provides a relaxing atmosphere that is also an ideal place to
meet up with friends or colleagues.
There is a bar that is open every day from 7pm where there is a wide variety of drinks and
cocktails on offer so that you can relax after a long day of sight seeing, or perhaps
catching up with the news from your own country with one of the International papers is
more to your liking.
There is a buffet breakfast served in the breakfast room every day from 7am through to
12.30pm and has a fantastic selection available including all the usual things such as
fruit salad, bread, cereals, but also cold cuts, smoked fish and hot dishes liked
scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, omelettes and much more to set you up for the hectic day
ahead.
However, the Hotel Franklin D. Roosevelt also offers continental breakfast within your
room from 7am through to 2pm and general room service right through to 10.30pm.
As you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Paris, there is a laundry and dry cleaning
service, but if you wish to enjoy a relaxing time at a spa and hammam or keep up your
exercise regime within a gym, then this is also possible, as you would have free access to
the health club at the Hotel Rochester, which
is run by the same hotel group as this.
Hotel Room Facilities
There are a total of 48 hotel rooms and suites at this Paris hotel and after being
completely renovated back in 2003, they are now decorated in more English style than a
Parisian one.
Obviously, all hotel rooms are air conditioned and soundproofed, but the other high
quality facilities include a TV with Satellite TV, a sound system, mini bar, personal safe
and ADSL broadband internet connection as well as free WiFi, plus you can have a DVD
player upon request.
The Hotel Franklin D. Roosevelt has two Junior Suites called Eleonore and Roosevelt that
consist of one large room under a mansard roof and a luxurious marble bathroom, whereas
the Elysees Suite has a separate bedroom and living room along with a spa bath and a
separate bath and shower plus extensive closet and storage space.
Rates as of 2010: A Double or Twin hotel room is from €210, a Superior room is from
€240 and a Junior Suite is from €270.
