Of course there are many more tourist attractions nearby yet
alone if you use the Metro or one of the Tour Buses, but
another added benefit is that the shuttle bus that goes to Roissy Charles de Gaulle
airport stops opposite the Hotel Splended Etoile.
The Hotel Facilities
There is a 24 hour reception and the concierge staff are members of the prestigious Clefs
d'Or, so you know that you will be in good hands and they can take care of virtually any
request you could think of!
The Hotel Splendid Etoile has a restaurant called Le Pre Carre that offers traditional
French cuisine in a typically Parisian atmosphere, but this is also where the buffet
breakfast is served from 7am to 10.30am or until noon at weekends. However, you can
also opt for a continental breakfast to be served to your room from 7am through to
12.30pm.
This Paris hotel has a bar that is open every day from 5pm sering a vast amount of
different drinks and cocktails, plus there is a warm and inviting lounge decorated with
panelling and elegant fabrics, that is ideal for relaxing, reading one of the
International newspapers available, meeting up with friends or having a small intimate
business meeting instead of utilising the conference room.
Along with a laundry service and a baby sitting service, being part of the Frontenac Group
you can also take advantage of the free fitness centre and spa at the nearby Hotel Rochester or get pampered with a massage.
Hotel Room Facilities
All of the bathrooms at the Hotel Splendid Etoile are marble and have a bath, shower and
hairdryer, plus some of the rooms have a balcony or a view of the Arc de Triomphe, whilst
others overlook the inner courtyard.
Every hotel room is air conditioned, soundproofed, has a TV with Satellite TV, a mini bar,
personal safe and broadband internet connection as well as free WiFi that is available
throughout the hotel.
All of the Suites have a bedroom and separate living room plus you can opt for a suite
with a direct view of the Arc de Triomphe for an even more pleasurable experience.
Rates as of 2010: A Double or Twin room is from €210, a Superior room is from
€240 and a Suite is from €350 but to opt for a suite with that fantastic view of
the Arc de Triomphe, then the starting price is from €430.
