The Hotel Facilities
Arriving here is just like entering someone's home when you have been invited, so you get
a warm welcome and nothing seems too much trouble, especially with Golden Key concierge
members of staff.
Obviously, there is a 24 hour reception with full concierge service for booking tickets to
shows and
cabarets, making reservations at the many Paris restaurants,
plus there is 24 hour room service available as well.
You have the added luxury of porters and a valet parking service, plus there is a private
covered car park that you can utilise if you are arriving in Paris via your own transport
rather than by Eurostar or
by plane and this is a cost of 25 per day, which is actually very good value,
especially when you consider where you are in the city.
There is a nice comfortable lounge area and bar along with a lovely elegant styled
restaurant with an ornate glass roof or canopy as the Hotel Vernet calls it, that was
signed by Gustave Eiffel who was the architect that designed the Eiffel Tower.
And within the restaurant you could experience delights such as Leek and Cantal tart, with
salad and a walnut oil dressing, poached pollock fillet with carrots risotto and orange
butter, stuffed guinea-fowl supreme braised with genever, served with saut?ed mushrooms,
fresh scallops from the Brittany region with truffle Oil or braised sanglier loan in other
words, braised wild boar. Now this is where you may be surprised, but the meals will
not break the bank, as the average cost for a main dish is only around 27.
.
Plus there is an option of having a private dinner or lunch arranged for that special
occasion and there is also a private function room available that can cater for between 8
and 20 people.
You will also be pleased to note that your beloved pets are allowed to accompany you.
