Paris Hotel Monna Lisa - 4 Star Hotel

The Hotel Monna Lisa is a four star hotel located in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris and is very easy to find because the Rue de la Boetie is a small street that branches off from the Avenue des Champs Elysees.

This Paris hotel has a prominent position in a small circle of custom designed hotels and is housed in a building that was first built in 1860.  But having been completely renovated and updated with a lift, there are only 22 elegant and spacious rooms in a traditional style utilising wood, for a cosy and comfortable feel, that will provide you with a relaxing stay.

Obviously because of the Hotel Monna Lisa's proximity to the famous Champs Elysees, you are also within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe in one direction and the Tuilleries Gardens and the most famous museum in Paris, The Louvre in the other direction.

Just some of the other places you can experience in the area include the Moulin Rouge and the Crazy Horse cabaret venues, the Place de la Concorde with the oldest monument in Paris called the Luxor Obelisk, the Grand Palais and the Musee du Petit Palais.

The Hotel Facilities

The Hotel Monna Lisa has a bar and a restaurant called the Caffe Ristretto with a pleasant, plush atmosphere and is rich with the smells and flavours of the lovely Italian cuisine they serve at a lunchtime from noon until 2.30pm and of an evening from 7pm to 11pm on a Monday to Friday.

The menu changes with the seasons to provide the freshest ingredients possible and you can get a business lunch with aperitif for around 30€.

This particular hotel in Paris serves an American style buffet breakfast.

Obviously there are all the usual facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel and the very competent, friendly staff are available to help you organise your stay by arranging reservations at numerous Paris restaurants, booking tickets for shows and cabaret venues and organising tours.

Hotel Room Facilities

There are 20 elegant rooms and two suites that are all elegantly furnished in the latest designer furnishings with parquet floors made of Slovene oak and American walnut furniture, which were designed in Italian style.

All of the rooms at the Hotel Monna Lisa come equipped with air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, a refrigerator mini bar, Satellite TV, WiFi and computer data ports.

The Classique rooms as they are known are also equipped with Hydro-jet showers and the Deluxe rooms are equipped with a Queen sized bed.

The Junior Suites also have a sitting room with sofa and chairs, a king-sized bed and a hydro-massage bathtub.  The deluxe suite, which is situated on the fifth floor, has a large balcony and the Classique suite on the sixth floor features a magnificent view of the roofs of Paris.

Rates as of 2008: Classic rooms from 185€, Deluxe rooms are from 200€ and the suites are from 230€. 

The American style buffet breakfast is 17€ per person.
