You can choose to have a lunch or dinner in the heart of the
structure of the Eiffel Tower and the large windows not only provide an excellent view
outside, but also reveal the inner structure of the Eiffel
Tower. Also Altitude 95 is split so that you can have a drink in the ground
floor bar area before you go up the unusually shaped stairs to the dining area.
Drinks and snacks are served all day in the bar on the lower floor of the restaurant and a
lunch menu is available from a Monday to Saturday, but not on bank holidays.
The setting of Altitude 95 is refined, but also casual within the restaurant and bar, with both the downstairs and
upstairs having sleek hardwood floors, and a design that is accentuated by brass motifs,
yet it is not really a great idea to wear jeans or trainers, as most people will be
dressed far more elegantly for the occasion.
Reservations must be made prior to arrival and they serve traditional French cuisine with some of the popular
favourites in French food such as steak tartare and foie gras, but to get a table next to
one of the windows, you must make a reservation well in advance.
You may have also realised that there are actually two main restaurants within the Eiffel
Tower and the second is at the top called the Jules
Verne Restaurant and obviously both of these are more expensive than many restaurants in Paris, basically because of
their location.
