At the same location you can also visit The Centre de
Documentation Juive Contemporaine, which translated basically means The Contemporary
Jewish Documentation Centre that contains more than 400,000 documents.
This is actually an historical research centre that specialises in finding out more about
the fate of the Jews during the Second World War where they hold a permanent exhibition
that includes old original documents, newspapers, archives, etc plus they hold temporary
exhibitions as well.
The Centre de Documentation Juive Contemporaine also hold conferences on the persecution
of the Jews and other subjects that are related and is also the contemporary Jewish
documentation centre as well.
From a Sunday through to a Friday it is open from 10am through to 1pm and after lunch from
2pm through to 6pm. It is closed on a Saturday, national holidays and on all Jewish
feats and festivals.
