Musee National du Sport In Paris France

The Musee National du Sport is situated in the 16th Arrondissement of Paris and is located within the Parc de Princes stadium.

Designed by the architect Roger Taillibert, the stadium was built in 1972 and houses a permanent museum along with the space for additional temporary exhibitions that are all related to the favourite past times of sport.

The main exhibition area, which is home to the Musee National du Sport, includes the history and evolution of sport within France along with the origins of certain games that have become popular throughout the country.

Musee National du Sport

You will be able see numerous items on display from paintings and medals through to photographs of French sporting heroes and achievements and much more to maybe even inspire you to do more of your favourite sport.

On a Monday through to a Friday this Paris museum is open from 9.30am through to 12.30pm but closes for lunch and re-opens from 2pm through to 5pm.  It also opens on a Sunday, yet is closed on Saturdays and all National Holidays.
