Le Repaire de Cartouche Bistro is very well known with the locals
and a typical Paris family restaurant that has not been hit by the tourist trade
as much as many of the other bistros in
Paris.
Situated in the 11th arrondissement close to the Bastille this restaurant in Paris serves classic French
cuisine that changes with the seasons depending upon what fresh produce is
available. You can always expect to have pork and poultry dishes on the menu and
they supply other specialities that change with the times of year, with dishes such as
monkfish in a mushroom sauce and other delights like green bean salad, or how about having
wild boar steak with a side order of salad.
They supply a set menu on a weekday for lunch, but on a Saturday it is only an A la Carte
menu, but whichever you decide, you know that you will come away enjoying the meal and
accompanying wine without breaking the bank.

The opening hours are from noon until 2pm for lunch and from 7.30pm through to 11pm for

This restaurant is suitable for all the family and is far more casual than many other
places where you could eat out in Paris and therefore there is no particular dress code
either.
Reservations are highly recommended for both lunch and dinner, as it is extremely popular,
especially with the Parisians and if you do not book, you could end up having a long wait
for a table or even disappointed.
