The Frog and Princess Bar in Paris

The Frog and Princess is one of the FrogPubs chain that is a bar designed in such a way as to make it feel like a very traditional English pub and is probably one of the most happening and exciting bars in Paris that gets extremely busy, especially with the ex-pats and students.

After the success of the Paris bar called the Frog and Rosbif, over the following ten years there were other traditional English style pubs that opened in Paris and of course this is one of them.

The Frog and Princess Bar in Paris

It is a cool and trendy bar that is friendly, yet very often crowded and loud as it is also a very popular sports venue with its big screen TV's, so that people do not have to miss their favourite sporting action from rugby, to tennis and Formula 1 motor racing to football with the Premiership league.

The Frog and Princess is situated in a beautiful part of Paris called St Germain-des-Pr?s in the 6th arrondissement and what makes this bar in Paris even more unusual is the fact that they even produce their own range of beers on the premises itself.

But they also provide some great traditional style pub food from the typical English breakfast through to fish and chips, pie and mash and a bacon cheeseburger with potato wedges to name a few dishes on the basic yet good menu, plus there is always a selection of bar snacks, hot sandwiches and desserts to choose from.

So if you are visiting Paris it is certainly worth visiting The Frog and Princess to get a bit of the taste of home, but if you are staying in the City of Lights for a while, then this could be a great place to make your regular.  But if you are not near this area, then there is also The Frog and Rosbif, The Frog and British Library and The Frog at Bercy Village you could enjoy.
