The Frog at Bercy Village Bar in Paris

The Frog at Bercy Village is actually the largest out of all of the FrogPubs in the chain and is following on from the fantastic success of the Frog and Rosbif, which was the first one to be opened in Paris.

This is a stylish and busy cafe and bar during the day and of an evening becomes more like a venue for those people that want somewhere to go before they make their way on to a true nightclub such as Club Med World.

The Frog at Bercy Village is situated in an historic Parisian wine cellar, which still retains the original character including its limestone walls and exposed beams, plus this place has a split-level interior with two bars and two lovely terraces to enjoy, but in keeping with the theme of FrogPubs, it is also designed as a typical English pub.

The Frog at Bercy Village Bar in Paris

Located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris close to the River Seine, the main feature of this bar is the custom designed microbrewery where they produce their own brand of beers that are supplied on tap and quite incredibly they produce around 10,000 pints of the 6 house beers each week!

You will find it to be a fantastic venue with a great atmosphere for watching sports such as motor racing, rugby, and football and all of the major sporting events are broadcast on the giant screen as well as on five plasma TVs, so wherever you are in the pub, you will have a good view.

However, The Frog at Bercy Village, is much more than just a Paris bar or sports venue as it is a great place to have some traditional English food like sausage and mash and apple crumble desert, plus they serve bar snacks, hot toasted sandwiches, yet also have options for vegetarians and some French style cuisine as well.

But if you cannot manage to get to this particular pub, then there are other bars in Paris in other areas and these are the Frog and Princess, the original Frog and Rosbif and the Frog and British Library.
